Most mission teams choose the $33 per person TripArmor® Post-Departure Plan for trips up to 30 days in most states.
For longer trips, the cost is:
- $2.58 per person, per day for each additional day
- up to a maximum of 90 days total
This plan provides strong medical coverage during the trip, including:
- emergency medical care
- medical evacuation
- travel delay benefits
- 24/7 Teladoc access so travelers can speak with a doctor while on the trip
Teladoc is a non-insurance service (valued at $2 per person) and is:
- included in the plan
- required
- and itemized separately on your receipt
There are no age restrictions, which makes it a great fit for teams of all ages.

This plan includes:
- emergency medical coverage while traveling
- medical evacuation if needed
- travel delay benefits
- a limited trip interruption benefit (up to $1,000) for covered situations after your trip has started
What it does not cover
This plan does not include trip cancellation coverage before departure.
It also does not cover pre-existing conditions unless the plan is purchased within 20 days of your initial trip deposit, which may allow you to qualify for a waiver.
If you’d like additional protection, you can add:

- Cancel For Any Reason (if purchased within 20 days of your initial trip deposit)
