Post-Departure Coverage Only
Accident & Sickness Medical Expense
Helps pay up to $100,000 for medical and dental treatment (dental up to $750) if you become sick or injured while traveling. Coverage can be extended if you are hospitalized beyond your scheduled return date.
Medical Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains
Covers up to $500,000 for emergency transportation to the nearest appropriate medical facility, return transportation home once medically fit, and repatriation of remains — including transportation of a traveling companion or family member to be by your side.
Political, Security & Natural Disaster Evacuation
Provides up to $50,000 per event for evacuation if you face a political, personal security, or natural disaster emergency at your destination.
Baggage Protection
Provides up to $1,000 reimbursement for lost, stolen, or damaged baggage and personal belongings during your trip ($250 per-item limit), plus passport and travel document replacement assistance.
Baggage Delay
Reimburses up to $300 for essential purchases if your baggage is delayed during your trip.
Trip Delay Benefits
Covers meals, lodging, and necessary expenses up to $150/day (maximum $1,000) if your trip is delayed for six or more consecutive hours due to a covered reason.
Missed Trip Connection
Reimburses up to $500 for additional transportation costs if you miss your trip departure due to a covered delay of six or more consecutive hours.
Change Fee Reimbursement
Reimburses up to $100 for airline or travel supplier change fees resulting from a covered unforeseen reason such as carrier delay or trip cancellation by your travel supplier.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment
Provides up to $10,000 in 24-hour AD&D coverage, including exposure and disappearance provisions.

How to File a Claim

Claims are handled directly by your insurance carrier, as they are the ones responsible for reviewing, approving, and paying claims based on your policy. While we don't make claim decisions, our team is here to support you every step of the way - whether that's helping you understand the process, gathering the right documentation, or answering questions along the way. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident in what to do next, without navigating it alone.
Filing a claim is simple and can be done online through a secure MyIMG account.

Step 1: Start Your Claim Create or log into your MyIMG account at imglobal.com/member. Navigate to the claims area and follow the prompts to submit your claim. Have your policy information and travel and incident details ready.
Step 2: Upload Supporting Documents You may be asked to provide documentation such as:
- Trip confirmations or receipts
- Medical records or physician statements
- Airline or travel supplier documentation
- Proof of delay, cancellation, or interruption
- Police reports (required for theft or accident-related claims)
These documents help verify your claim and allow for a smoother review process.
Step 3: Track Your Claim After submitting, you'll receive a confirmation. You can return to your MyIMG account at any time to check your claim status or upload additional documents.
Step 4: Receive Your Reimbursement Once your claim is reviewed and approved, reimbursement will be issued based on your policy coverage. Processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the claim.

10-Day Free Look Period
You have 10 days to review your policy and make sure it's the right fit for your trip.
If the plan does not meet your needs, you may cancel your policy within this 10-day review period for a full refund - provided your trip has not started and no claim has been filed. If you depart on your trip before the review period ends, the review period automatically ends at departure.
Important
After the 10-day review period, the policy becomes non-refundable.
This means refunds are not available once the review period has passed — even if your travel plans change after purchase.
If your plans do change, your coverage may be eligible to transfer to a new trip, depending on the situation. Our team is happy to help review your options.
