Important Information About Travel Insurance
Please Review Your Plan Documents
The information provided on the ICI Traveler website is intended to provide a general summary of available travel insurance benefits and services.
Coverage amounts and benefits may vary depending on your state of residence and the plan option selected. Please review the full plan document for complete details. This plan provides protection for unexpected events that could disrupt your trip, including illness, travel delays, or lost belongings.
Non-Insurance Services
Certain travel plans include access to services that are not insurance benefits, including travel assistance services and, where available, Teladoc or other telehealth services.
These services may include assistance such as:
- 24/7 travel assistance
- Emergency travel coordination
- Lost passport or travel document assistance
- Travel information and referrals
- Teladoc or telehealth services, where included with the plan
Teladoc and telehealth services are intended for non-emergency medical issues only.
Availability of non-insurance services varies by plan. Please review the applicable plan information for details.
IMG specifically requires 24/7 travel assistance and Teladoc to be identified as non-insurance services, and asks that Teladoc be described as intended for non-emergency medical issues.
Cancel for Any Reason / Interruption for Any Reason
When Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) and/or Interruption for Any Reason (IFAR) benefits are available with a plan, additional eligibility requirements, costs, and terms apply.
Then use IMG's required wording exactly:
*These CFAR/IFAR benefits can only be purchased at the time the base plan is purchased. These benefits are bundled together and cannot be purchased separately. Not available to NY residents. Additional costs and terms apply.

“Health Talents International sends medical volunteers to Guatemala each month to staff our surgical hospital, and we have worked with IMG for a couple of decades. We would not use anyone else. The pricing is economical, the enrollment process is simple, and the staff is unparalleled whenever we need support. We take the welfare of our volunteers very seriously, and it means a great deal to know they are protected when traveling with us.”
Susan M.

“After seeing a close friend lose nearly $12,000 on a trip to Europe without travel insurance, I knew I needed to explore coverage for my own upcoming trip. As an AMAC member, I reached out and am so glad I did. Skyler was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with, taking the time to answer all my questions and help me find the right combination of coverage. While I hope I never need to use it, I have great confidence that any claim would be handled just as professionally.”
James “Jim” P.

“This was our first time purchasing travel insurance, and we had so many questions. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. MTI is responsive and supportive, and TripArmor covers all bases. We would recommend this policy to anyone facilitating international mission trips!”
Hope L.
Trip Coordinator | Living Water International
“We have had a relationship with Insurance Consultants for many years, as we’ve arranged TripArmor plans for each of our international short-term mission trips. Every person within the organization has been extremely helpful to us as we’ve asked questions, purchased the plans, and filed any claims. A few years ago, we had a significant issue during a trip that involved a highly respected person involved in our ministry. As we walked through shock and grief, Insurance Consultants not only walked through the claim with us but also cared deeply for us by checking in, praying, and following up for months after the claim was completed. We highly recommend Insurance Consultants for the insurance coverage they offer and even more for the care they offer to their clients. ”
Brenda G.

“At VisionTrust, we’re truly thankful for the partnership we’ve had with Mission Trip Insurance. It’s been such a gift to know our teams are covered as they step out in faith to serve others. There’s a real sense of peace that comes with knowing we don’t have to worry about the “what ifs,” and can instead stay focused on the work God has called us to. Working with Alicia has been a joy- she’s always quick to respond, kind, and incredibly professional, which makes everything feel easy and taken care of. We’ve also really appreciated the coverage provided for each of our team members, especially at such a reasonable cost. It’s one more way we’ve seen God provide through the right people and partnerships at just the right time.”
