Key Benefits
Trip Cancellation — Up to $10,000 Reimburses 100% of your non-refundable trip costs if you must cancel for a covered reason — illness, injury, death of a family member, and more. Minimum insured trip cost of $500 applies.
Trip Interruption — Up to $12,500 Reimburses 125% of non-refundable costs if your trip is cut short for a covered reason, helping cover additional transportation costs to return home early.
Trip Delay — Up to $600 Covers meals and accommodations after a 12-hour or longer covered delay — up to $200 per day for up to 3 days.
Emergency Medical — Up to $40,000 Covers emergency accident and sickness medical expenses incurred during your trip, including a $750 dental sublimit.
Emergency Evacuation — Up to $250,000 Covers emergency medical evacuation to the nearest appropriate facility and medically necessary repatriation of remains — both in a single combined limit.
Rental Property Damage Liability — Up to $1,500 A signature benefit of this plan — covers accidental damage liability to a rented vacation home, condo, or short-term rental property during your trip. Not available in MO, NY, WA, or MT.
Baggage & Personal Effects — Up to $1,000 | Baggage Delay — Up to $750 Up to $1,000 for lost, stolen, or damaged baggage ($250 per article, $500 combined article limit). Up to $750 for baggage delays of 24+ hours ($500/day) to purchase necessities.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment — $10,000 Principal Sum / $100,000 Aggregate 24-hour accidental death and dismemberment coverage with a $10,000 principal sum per person and $100,000 aggregate maximum.
Optional Add-Ons
Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) Upgrade to CFAR to cancel your trip for any reason not otherwise covered. You'll be reimbursed 70% of your non-refundable insured trip cost. Must be purchased within 21 days of your initial trip deposit and you must cancel no later than 48 hours before your scheduled departure. Not available in NY or for travel to Israel. Additional cost applies.
Optional Rental Car Damage & Theft Add-on coverage of up to $25,000 for accidental damage or theft of a rental car. Additional cost and terms apply. This is separate from the Rental Property Damage Liability benefit included in the base plan.
Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver The pre-existing condition exclusion is waived if: (1) the plan is purchased within 21 days of the date your initial trip deposit is received, and (2) you are medically able and not disabled from travel at the time the plan cost is paid.

How to File a Claim

Claims are handled directly by your insurance carrier, as they are the ones responsible for reviewing, approving, and paying claims based on your policy. While we don't make claim decisions, our team is here to support you every step of the way - whether that's helping you understand the process, gathering the right documentation, or answering questions along the way. 1. Contact Trawick International
Reach out to Trawick International as soon as possible after a covered event. For emergencies requiring medical evacuation or other time-sensitive benefits, contact the 24/7 assistance line before making arrangements when possible.
2. Gather Your Documentation
Prepare all relevant supporting documents for your claim type:
- Completed and signed claim form
- Itemized bills and receipts for medical expenses
- Proof of cancellation or interruption (airline/tour operator statements)
- Physician's statement if claiming for medical reasons
- Police report for theft, lost luggage, or accidents
- Proof of delay (airline documentation) for trip or baggage delay claims
- Rental property damage report or invoice for property damage claims
3. Submit Your Claim
Submit your completed claim form and all supporting documentation to Trawick International. Claims can typically be submitted online through the Trawick portal or by mail.

4. Track & Receive Reimbursement
Once your claim is submitted, Trawick International will review your documentation and notify you of the determination. Approved claims will be reimbursed per the terms of your Certificate of Insurance.
If your claim is denied or partially denied, you have the right to appeal. Contact Trawick International for the appeals process and deadlines specific to your state of residence and plan terms.

15-Day Free Look Period
15-Day Free Look Period
You may cancel the plan within 15 days of purchase and receive a full refund of your plan cost — provided you have not incurred a loss, no claim has been filed, and you have not yet departed on your trip. After the 15-day review period expires, the plan cost is non-refundable.
After the Free Look Period
Once the 15-day free look window has passed, the plan cost is non-refundable regardless of whether you take your trip. This applies even if you cancel your trip — you may still file a trip cancellation claim if cancellation is for a covered reason.

Cancellation requests must be received before you have departed and before any loss has been incurred or claim filed.
CFAR Cancellation Requirements
If you purchased Cancel for Any Reason: You must cancel your trip no later than 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure date to be eligible for the 70% CFAR reimbursement. CFAR does not cover cancellations made within 48 hours of departure.
