How to File a Claim
We're here to help if you need it.
Claims are handled directly by your insurance carrier, as they are the ones responsible for reviewing, approving, and paying claims based on your policy. While we don't make claim decisions, our team is here to support you every step of the way - whether that's helping you understand the process, gathering the right documentation, or answering questions along the way. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident in what to do next, without navigating it alone.
Filing a claim is simple and can be done online through the MyIMG member portal or mobile app.
Log in to your MyIMG account and enter your travel and incident details. Have your Certificate of Insurance or ID card available when submitting.
You may be asked to provide documentation such as:
- Medical records or physician statements
- Hospital or pharmacy receipts
- Airline or travel supplier documentation
- Police reports (for lost luggage, theft, or accidents)
- Proof of evacuation or emergency service authorization
These documents help verify your claim and allow for a smoother review process.
After submitting, you'll receive a confirmation. Use the MyIMG portal or mobile app anytime to check your claim status, view Explanations of Benefits, or upload additional documents.
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, reimbursement will be issued based on your policy coverage. In-network providers may bill IMG directly, reducing your upfront costs. Processing times may vary by complexity.
If you have questions, the IMG team is available 24/7 to assist.
Online: MyIMG portal at imglobal.com or the IMG mobile app

Free Look Period
You have a review period from the date of purchase to confirm this plan is the right fit for your trip and mission.
If the plan does not meet your needs, you may cancel your policy within this review period for a full refund — provided you have not yet departed on your trip and no claim has been filed.
After the review period, the policy becomes non-refundable.
This means refunds are not available once the review period has passed — even if your travel plans change.
IMG Outreach plans can be extended for up to a 365-day period, up to a maximum of 24 continuous months. Each insured person satisfies only one deductible and coinsurance per 12-month coverage period. Contact your producer or visit imglobal.com to extend your coverage.
Includes a free look (review period) so you can purchase with confidence and review your coverage after checkout.
